The environment of freedom deprivation presents several scenarios for those who enter the prisons, several rules must be followed, from the entrance to the capacity of the cell, besides the hierarchies that must be respected. However, a perspective of new beginning appears when the individual deprived of freedom finds the way to school, because through the educational practices, the exchange of knowledge, and the opportunity of school life, a new horizon appears in the individual's life. Through the school, several school knowledge is presented to those students who had difficulties in continuing their studies in the school environment outside of prison, due to several factors - children, home, jobs - and in the search for new possibilities to reduce their sentence, for example, the remission by the Law of Criminal Execution. In the school environment, several school knowledge is presented with diversified content in order to promote the integral development of the student and the curriculum component Physical Education present in the Curricular Proposal of the State of Pernambuco in the area of Languages, proposes an opportunity in learning through the body culture of movement through the teaching practice of the physical education teacher with the provision of knowledge objects: games and games, sports, dance, fight, gymnastics, and body adventure practices. This research aims to understand the limits and possibilities present in the physical education teacher's teaching practice, working at Escola Estadual Irmã Dulce in the Women's Penitentiary of Abreu e Lima-PE. This is a research of qualitative approach, of exploratory, descriptive and analytical character, through a case study. The unit of investigation of the research will be constituted of a physical education teacher with higher education degree in physical education, working in the Sister Dulce State School installed in the Women's Penitentiary of Abreu e Lima - Pernambuco.

RESUMO:

O ambiente de privação de liberdade apresenta diversos cenários para aquelas pessoas que adentram às prisões, várias regras devem ser seguidas, desde a entrada até a lotação da cela, além das hierarquias que precisam ser respeitadas. No entanto, uma perspectiva de recomeço surge quando o indivíduo com privação de liberdade encontra o caminho da escola, pois através das práticas educativas, da troca do conhecimento e da oportunidade de vida escolar é que surge um novo horizonte na vida do indivíduo. Por esse meio busca de encontrar novas possibilidades para reduzir a pena, por exemplo a remição pela Lei de Execução Penal. No ambiente escolar, diversos saberes escolares são apresentados com conteúdo diversificados no intuito de promover o desenvolvimento integral do aluno e o componente curricular Educação Física  presente na Proposta Curricular do Estado de Pernambuco na área de Linguagens, propõem uma oportunidade na aprendizagem através da cultura corporal do movimento através da prática docente do professor de educação física com a oferta do objetos de conhecimentos: brincadeiras e jogos, esporte, dança, luta, ginástica e práticas corporais de aventura. Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo compreender os limites e as possibilidades presentes na prática docente do professor de educação física lotado na Escola Estadual Irmã Dulce na Penitenciária Feminina de Abreu e Lima-PE. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa, de caráter exploratório, descritivo e analítico, através de um estudo de caso. A unidade de investigação da pesquisa será constituída de um professor de educação física com formação superior em Licenciatura em educação física lotado na Escola Estadual Irmã Dulce instalada na Penitenciária Feminina de Abreu e Lima – Pernambuco.
