SUMMARY:

Social networks are powerful tools as communication tools that contribute to the political and
educational formation of women. As they are tools that provide greater visibility, reach and
protagonism, feminists have increasingly occupied these spaces so that other women can build
knowledge that includes emancipatory, libertarian and revolutionary practices. This research
is a study on the potential of social networks of the World March of Women (MMM) – Core
Soledad Barrett for the political formation of women. In this direction, the research aimed to
study how the process of political formation for women's self-empowerment occurs through
feminist social networks. The theoretical references are based on authors and authors who
discuss Feminism, Social Networks, Feminist Popular Education, Education and Social
Movements, Empowerment, Digital Feminism and Political Formation. We used the
qualitative approach, aiming to understand the processes and discourses through the
subjectivities and compression of reality, thus, the method of analysis approached was the
Extended Case method, following the contributions of Santos (1982) in epistemological and
qualitative input by Bardin (2011) from content analysis. The methodological construction of
the research took place through the circle of virtual dialogue and posts made by the activists
of the March on their social networks. As a result, this study broadens the understanding of
the relevance of social networks for contributions to political-pedagogical actions carried out
by feminist groups that adopt digital platforms as an instrument of self-empowerment,
political-educational training and emancipation. We emphasize that the pedagogical role we
find in the social networks of the MMM - Núcleo Soledad Barrett, presents us with a Popular
Feminist Education that gives rise to a social revolution in women.
