The Graduate Program in Accounting (PPGCC) offers opportunities to study and conduct research on Accounting for internal users (Controllership) and Accounting for external users (financial accounting) either for profit (Business) or non-profit entities (NGOs and Government) at both Master and Doctoral level. The program offers free admission to two courses:

(a) Master (MSc) in Accounting, which selects up to 16 students per year; and

(b) Doctorate in Accounting, which selects up to 6 students per year;

Also, the Program sponsors:

(a) an annual Congress of Accounting Sciences (CONUCIC), which constitutes a forum for all Brazilian researches to present and discuss their researchers in Accounting; and

(b) An open access electronic journal (Revista de Informação Contábil - RIC), which publishes studies and research related to Accounting issues, produced by any researcher either from Brazil or elsewhere.

The Program is guided by the desire to promote professional qualification, new knowledge in accounting and foster the economic and social development of organizations and the overall society.
