SUMMARY:

Our work is born from the interest in discussing the criticism of the traditional school paradigm that has already been made by many theorists, among which we highlight here Paulo Freire, whose first texts are from the 1970s. was originally published in 1968, had the first edition in Brazil in 1974 and continues to have new editions. Another theorist, Yves Chevallard, now in the field of Mathematics Education, brings us the Anthropological Theory of Didactics - TAD, which has been used for almost 30 years in diagnostic research to analyze the dynamics of knowledge and its diffusion in certain institutions. Currently, a lot of research on didactic interventions has also been developed, from the perspective of TAD, in a perspective of paradigmatic change in the rupture with the dominant way of teaching and learning in schools. We seek elements to answer the following questions: are there similarities between the proposal of the Anthropological Didactic Theory (TAD) and the proposal of the Freirean Pedagogical Theory (TPF)? How do the Anthropological Didactic Theory and the Freireano Pedagogical Theory present the analysis of habitual teaching and what do they point out to be necessary to modify this teaching? The questions led us to formulate the following general objective of the research to analyze the contributions of the Chevallardian and Freireano theoretical perspectives from their respective approximations. The hypothesis that we formulate is that both researchers criticize traditional teaching and that there are dialogues that bring them together. Thus, we used the content analysis methodology of Bardin (2011) in order to build the categories from the pre-analysis and exploration of the material and then the research results. To this end, we rely on the element of the didactic system of the Herbatian being, of the Anthropological Theory of Didactics, to model the contributions of researchers and authors of their legacies of life, work and theory. Some results of this analysis were obtained by the characterization of several key words found in the authors' texts, which we classified as unit of record (initial categories) and, soon after, we grouped them into intermediate categories being supported by excerpts (unit of context) of the theoretical framework of each researcher. In addition, we characterize in two final categories for the proposal of the paradigmatic rupture of both theorists, and we call them the conservative paradigm and innovative paradigm that concerns banking education, the pedagogy of problematization, the pedagogy of the question of the educator Paulo Freire (1970, 1985 ), with what is proposed by Yves Chevallard (2004, 2007, 2009, 2013 and 2016) in the paradigm of visiting the works, in the proposal of paradigmatic rupture of the questioning and investigation of the world -PIQM through the Teaching and Research Path - PEP In view of the results obtained, we observe that the didactic system shows us that Chevallard and Freire, as herbal beings, criticize traditional teaching, proposing a teaching with questions that generate dialogues to innovate learning from the perspective of the student's intellectual formation.
