Statistical information is present in our daily lives, with its frequent use in the dissemination of news, requiring people to have the skills to critically articulate components of knowledge and disposition. It is emphasized the importance of developing statistical literacy skills from early childhood education, with a focus on working with the investigative cycle approach involving stages of research. Pedagogical coordinators have different responsibilities in Basic Education schools, and this thesis considers that conducting a formative process with these professionals working in Early Childhood Education will have an impact on the development of teaching practices focused on statistical literacy and based on the specificities of Early Childhood Education schools. The theme emerged from previous studies and considered the need to extend reflections and pedagogical practices focused on statistical literacy to all Municipal Early Childhood Education Centers (CEMEI) in the education network of the municipality of Jaboatão dos Guararapes/PE, reinforcing the formative dimension of pedagogical coordinators. In general, terms, the aim is to analyse how pedagogical coordinators can contribute to enhancing teaching practices focused on statistical literacy in Early Childhood Education schools. Our specific objectives include identifying the roles of pedagogical coordinators in Early Childhood Education in the municipal network of Jaboatão dos Guararapes. We also aim to gather prior knowledge of pedagogical coordinators about Statistical Education and elements of statistical literacy. Additionally, we seek to promote reflections on pedagogical possibilities for statistical literacy in Early Childhood Education with coordinators. These reflections will result in the planning of formative proposals to be carried out with CEMEI teachers. Furthermore, we intend to analyse the formative experiences of pedagogical coordinators in CEMEI, based on the implemented plans. The systematic literature review, while reinforcing the importance of the formative dimension in the functions of the pedagogical coordinator, indicated a lack of studies related to working with Early Childhood Education teachers addressing statistical education. Based on the assumptions of action research, 21 pedagogical coordinators from CEMEI in the municipal network of Jaboatão dos Guararapes carried out questionnaires and participated in training meetings conducted in a collaborative context. The majority of coordinators emphasized the importance of prior knowledge of Statistics and the relevance of introducing these contents in Early Childhood Education. They also demonstrated an understanding of statistics, identifying, for example, specific information in a graph and drawing conclusions based on data. The formative moments provided reflections on the critical analysis of data and the importance of considering children's curiosity and meanings constructed for the development of statistical literacy based on the investigative cycle. A deeper understanding of aspects of statistical literacy was necessary to highlight critical issues that could bring about dispositional components. Reflections on the challenges and possibilities of coordinators' roles in formative work with teachers in CEMEI were also intensified, considering the numerous demands that arise in everyday school life. Formations conducted in a collaborative context enabled collective work, contributing to the exchange of knowledge and consolidating aspects related to the identity and role of pedagogical coordinators in a formative dimension.
