cinema, sound, creative processes, sound culture
This work proposes an investigation into the aesthetic intentions of Coletivo
Som em Pernambuco and how they elaborate the sounds of the films in which they work. The analyzes start from the drafts of creative labor - interviews, documents and files/editing software projects - through the critique of processes, proposed by Cecília Almeida Salles (2008), and highlighting the patterns of intentions of these artists through the interferential critique of Baxandall (2006). The creative and methodological relationships that arise in the course of filmmaking, the budgetary conditions of the productions and the way these artists deal with the adversities in the elaboration of the projects, are perceived as factors of great relevance in the finished movies. The analyzes based on these conditions are supported by Bordwell's (2008) problem/solution paradigm. In addition to the paths of genetic criticism, I present the narrowing between the creation of sounds and film analysis, based on the sequences/scenes cited by the artists.
