Discourse; Post-truth; Political communication.
The post-truth debate is media, socioeconomic, and political. Through the analysis of the discursive mechanisms that structure and organize the discourse of users of conservative groups on the Telegram online platform, we investigate the processes of production of meaning and functioning of texts produced in these spaces from the theoretical-methodological support of discourse and content analysis. Our objective is to understand how post-truth narratives have mobilized meanings. Therefore, we start from the hypothesis that, in these contexts, the factual truth is replaced by an affective investment, enhanced by the rationality of the platforms and results in a parallel information system, which manages to establish greater adherence and plausibility among the interactors.
