SUMMARY:

The transmedia production has been explored by journalism, among other reasons, in an attempt to strengthen its relationship with the audience and maintain its position as a legitimate instance for the construction of reality and, consequently, to maintain its existence as a professional practice viable. In this type of journalistic practice, new forms of interaction between audience and production begin to develop and the audience begins to play new roles in the co-production of journalism and in the construction of reality. In this way, this work proposes to understand these new roles and the characteristics of this audience that I propose to call expanded audience.
