SUMMARY:

This thesis observes, based on the review studies, especially the systematic literature review approach, presents an overview that aims to answer how we study transmedia as an area of study in Brazil. Through the collection of theses published in Brazil, a series of pre-determined data and the recovery of concepts and terminologies that cross transmedia studies, this thesis aims to answer what it is and how it is investigated from transmedia as an area of study, as well as who studies and how they study.
