This research seeks to understand how the religious communication of the Evangelical Church Assembly of God Ministério Novas de Paz, based in Jaboatão dos Guararapes – PE, occurs in the modulation of the imaginary, favoring a power project of its leadership and inciting a conservative political stance. The church, through its
institutional communication, introduced new political personalities to society, the couple: Clarissa and Júnior Tércio. Both voted significantly in the State, building their images as moralizers of the political space. Through Discourse Analysis of the church's YouTube channels, it was possible to follow how the religious leadership's power project, and its wars along the way, were being sacralized by appeals to the Pentecostal Christian religion.
