Filmic inscription, Instagram, Me, Pernambucan film makers.
In contemporary times, a desire for subjective expression emerges, which manifests itself in the circulation of first-person discourses present on different platforms, including cinema and cell phone applications. This fruitful image production, boosted by new technologies and intensified by communication practices that take place in the online universe, highlights and encourages talking about oneself to an audience. In this work, I investigate the phenomenon of filmic inscription, present in first-person films, and how these move from dark movie theaters to virtuality, when the practice is carried out by audiovisual directors in their @profiles on networks social. To this end, I carry out this study in three stages and start by making a bibliographical review about the phenomenon from its present concern in painting and literature. In order to support the conceptualization, I choose the works As Praias de Agnès (Les Plages d'Agnès), A Month of Single Frames, Nome de Batismo – Alice, News from
home, Sink or Swin and A Entrevista as first-person films. Then, I apply the comparative analysis method present in the film constellation, and I also use it in contemporary audiovisual micronarratives, publications made on Instagram, by the profiles @laiseque & @ilhadelaise, @dandarademorais & @diariosdeborder, @almanova8, @eu_sou_yane, @tretasan & @rebu.doc, @costadarenna, and @aurorajamelo. Finally, locating myself as an author- narrator-researcher, I conduct a semi-structured interview with the directors-managers- protagonists of the selected @profiles.
