SUMMARY:

The topic of variable compensation has been the focus of several discussions in the
academic and corporate spheres in recent years, based on the argument that positive
relationships with employees can be considered a source of competitive advantage for
companies. In this context, the choice of the type of remuneration is one of the most critical and
sensitive stages of a business, since conflicts related to poor distribution of rewards can cause
several bottlenecks, such as low productivity and loss of motivation of employees, thus
Therefore, it is important to devise a method that can reduce these divergences. This work seeks
to develop a methodology, through game theory, more precisely using the Shapley value in
order to obtain levels of rewards, through coalitions, that stimulates good performance to
maximize productivity. Therefore, it is necessary to meet the following specific objectives:
Identify the main studies and concepts on the subject, analyze the data that allow the
development of the method, validate the method through modeling and computational
simulation, apply the model in a real case in the logistics sector and finally, analyze the results
obtained. Bibliographic research is carried out, developed mainly from studies already
prepared, consisting of articles, theses, dissertations and books. Subsequently, a review of the
literature was carried out, where works associated with both game theory in logistics and the
Shapley value in logistics were presented, and then, the main joint applications of these skills
were evidenced. Finally, a case study was carried out in a logistics distribution company located
in Caruaru-Pe. In view of this, it was found that the application of the Shapley value made it
possible to obtain levels of rewards, where it satisfies the interests of the players in which they
receive the fair value according to their contribution in the production, in this way, the method
proved to be viable, which imposes the realization that it stimulates employees to obtain a good
performance to maximize production.
