SUMMARY:

This thesis aims to characterize a systemic model of archival data management in the context of FAIR and TRUST based on analyzing the data life cycle in the institutional repository of the Federal Institute of Paraíba (IFPB). We intend to verify the feasibility of implementing archival data management in the institution, based on the study of the survey of norms, legislation, principles, and technical requirements for the implementation of a trusted institutional repository (RDC). The theoretical foundation is based on the studies of thinkers linked to Information Science, Archive Science, Contemporary Diplomatics, Data Life Cycle, Big Data, and Metadata. The methodological path is of an applied, documental, and descriptive nature with a qualitative approach using technical procedures of participant observation and application of questionnaires
