SUMMARY:

This is a master's research whose theme is institutional memory through the organization of photographs. The general objective is to organize the photographs of Colégio Agrícola Dom Agostinho Ikas of the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco promoting a study of institutional memory. The methodological path was constituted through a bibliographical and documental research, where photographs were identified and characterized through three classes (social, political and structure) and that, later, will be described through NOBRADE adding two fields of narrative description. Subsequently, an interview will be held with school leaders to familiarize themselves with the photographs. The results allowed us to glimpse, through narratives, the richness of the institutional memory of Colégio IKAS of UFRPE and its importance for society
