COMMUNITY LIBRARIES AS DEVICES OF CULTURE AND CULTURAL APPROPRIATION IN THE COMMUNITY: A STUDY OF CULTURAL POLICIES

Verifies if the cultural public policies of Pernambuco encourage the cultural mediation and appropriation activities promoted by the nine community libraries of Releitura. Exploratory, bibliographic, documentary, and case study research, using the content analysis technique. The categories of analysis will be the words that represent actions that can be considered cultural devices, explicitly present, in the cultural policies of the State of Pernambuco. Compare the national culture incentive policies with those of the State, identify cultural mediation and appropriation activities promoted by Releitura's community libraries, identify if Releitura's libraries influence the conception of public policies of culture incentive, present a chronology of the resources made available to Releitura.
