SUMMARY:

It treats of representation of information and the knowledge of artistic-pictorial series. As the general objective, it proposes a methodological path of representation, starting from the approach used by Medeiros (2017) which contemplates the specificities of this type of iconographic document for the construction of new documentary products (indexes and concept maps). It uses a methodological triangulation for the conceptual delimitation and identification, categorization and sistematization of subjects through the perspectives of Medeiros (2017) and Medeiros and Pinho (2017; 2018a), with memorial purpose. As the result, it presents the deepening of the knowledge produced by the interpretation of the artistic-pictorial series and the enlargement of possibilities for application of representation instruments of this documental type in the identification/formation of new documentary representations for the comprehension of social memory
