USE OF BIG DATA INFORMATION TO ADDRESS THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC: A SYSTEMATIC MAPPING OF THE LITERATURE
Big data; Covid-19; Technological Tools; Pandemic; Systematic Mapping of Literature.
It aims to identify solutions based on big data that helped combat the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is justified by the importance given to information as an instrument to combat the pandemic, as well as by the interdisciplinary nature given to research related to the Covid-19 topic and the high number of data produced in this context. The systematic literature mapping method was used to identify the main tools that were developed and/or used during the pandemic period in order to minimize the negative impacts caused by the health crisis. A search was carried out for scientific articles focused on the themes “big data and Covid-19” in the BRAPCI (Referential Database of Journal Articles in Information Science) and Web of Science (WoS) databases, which included the recovery of 60 complete works, of which 29 were used in this research. The results presented were divided into 17 categories, 6 themes and 11 tools, which were created based on the records and content analysis of the collected material. The present study helps to expand knowledge about the possibilities of solutions that can assist the population in times of similar emergency conditions
