In Brazil, the state of Para is rich in biodiversity by being on amazon forest biome, with 60 thousand species among flaunt and flora, being 8% of them specific of the area, being also characterized as one of the main producers of gold and gems. It’s a territory that expresses culture an symbolisms, and for years inspires designers and artisans on producing adornments for local tourism area, specially jewels with gems encrustation and noble metallic materials. The Polo Joalheiro Program, administered by the Amazon Institute of Gems and Jewels is introduced by Economic Development Department, Mining and Energy, is nationally known by its marketing potential of traditional jewelry local production. At the same territory jewelries with alternative organic materials live, little is known about the accessories production flow with alternative natural materials, in special with Amazon seeds. This academic research has as goal propose a preliminary mapping of productive chains with seeds, for recognizing the origin of the raw material, the possible manufacturing processes, the marketing and production agents, such as the social and environmental impact associated to the business aiming tu support state public policies in sustaining these economic activities. The suggested method was designed to collect information from the agents that make part of the activity flow since the collect, going to the beneficiation processes os raw material, creation, production and marketing of adornments with seeds as organic gens in the city of Belem, from the model of productive chain analysis’ of handicraft, developed by the laboratory O Imaginário from UFPE. The applied research tools were: technical visits to observation and photographic register of production places, marketing and promotion of territory jewels, structured interviews with designers, producers and technicians of seeds beneficiation, such as managers and sellers from Polo Joalheiro - São José Liberto. The found mapping points to some weaknesses of this sector, mainly on the initial stages of the productive chain, in relation to few knowledge of involved agents on the step of collection and beneficiation of seeds and depending of producers in relation to the middleman figure. Thus, the research points to the relevance of mapping the productive chain to the other actions that are happening on the state, such as the entrance of the first refinery of Pará, strengthening this production since the tracking of raw material, and creating competition on national and international marketing with an aesthetic, symbolic and functional jewel quality.
