SUMMARY:

The strategies adopted in education in the country influence social attitudes, aiming at the right to inclusive education. Access to quality basic education, which respects differences in the classroom, requires educators to continually adapt the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) curriculum, using alternative accessibility resources, such as educational games. The present study understands educational games as instruments capable of assisting teachers in the insertion of students, with or without disabilities, within the educational environment. Such instruments must respect the heterogeneity in the classroom, in order to overcome the pedagogical barriers arising from an ableist and content-based educational system and can provide flexibility in the curriculum made available by BNCC. However, the use of these educational games still seems to represent a challenge for basic education teachers, especially due to the lack of prior knowledge about the dynamics of the game, their quantity and availability. And so, the games remain under the management - administrative and didactic - of the Specialized Educational Service (AEE) teachers, inserted in the Multifunctional Resource Rooms (SRMf) of the school unit, out of the reach of students in the regular classroom. Given this scenario, this research aimed, from the perspective of Universal Design for Learning, to propose a classification system for educational games - already produced by the practice of teachers at Escola Municipal do Engenho do Meio, a reference school in Recife–PE - in order to support the use of these games in Regular Education subjects for the inclusion of students with and without disabilities. The research method was based on the User Capacity Toolkit (PICHLER, 2019), consisting of 3 phases: 1. Data Collection; 2. Organization and Analysis of Data, and 3. Graphical Synthesis of Results. Phase 1 - of an investigative nature - consisted of on-site visits, unsystematic observation, interviews with regular education and AEE teachers, photographic records of the Multifunctional Resource Rooms and educational games. Stage 2 - of an organizational and management nature - focused on analyzing the mapped educational games, assisting in the first division between them, such as establishing the learning objectives of each of them. Finally, stage 3 - data processing phase - represented the moment of graphic synthesis, aimed at mapping educational games and systematizing them, in order to provide the creation of a management/systematization tool model idealized based on the principles of the DUA. As a result, a total of 258 educational games were mapped, subdivided into 5 intervention areas: Portuguese, Mathematics, Stimulation/Motor Coordination, Miscellaneous and Logical Reasoning. Games focused on “Mathematics” appear in greater numbers (f=110), followed by “Miscellaneous” (f=56), Logical Reasoning (f=35), then Portuguese (f=32), and finally Stimulation /Motor Coordination (f=25). In this way, it became possible to apply the principles of DUA, aiming to capture information and organize the main data of each educational game, converting them into supporting data for the system and model of catalog card for the games already existing in the unit. research, containing essential information, such as: the name of the game, the intervention area, thematic axis, practical objectives, among others.
