SUMMARY:

The research has a basic nature with practical application, where I am interested in verifying the spatialization of images and the perceptual modulation of the observer/user in the representation of space to actively work the medium of images - mainly printed - carried out with alterations produced by cuts and 3D printing models. When carrying out the enlargements and manipulations, spaces are opened for reflection and attribution of meanings not only to the image as a representation, but also to the object itself in the space/environment, providing an experience of the object spatially. The approach to the research is qualitative, as it is an aesthetic-formal unfolding of authorial works that will address the design of the pictorial plane in the conception of images. Thus, this relationship and border space, of passage between the real and the virtual, is also made possible. The written work is divided in five chapters and is based on a Arts-Based Research methodology with theoretical-reflexive components, beside the process of elaboration of the artistic works.
