For a less colonized design teaching/learning: A cartography.
Teaching/Learning, Cartography, Decolonization, Decoloniality.
The research begins with the identification of the discourses of knowledge coloniality within the production of research in design and focuses on the design teaching/learning process, recognizing its essential role in shaping the researcher. The Cartography methodology will be employed for this purpose. This methodology aims to interpret the living fabric of reality, capturing the dynamic essence that characterizes systems and phenomena. As an approach to potentially decolonize the teaching/learning process, the concept of "Amanuality," as described by Álvaro Vieira Pinto, will be adopted. For cartographic research tools, Interviews will be conducted with participants from various backgrounds who engage in design activities; Workshops will be organized to build practical knowledge related to design techniques, and there will be a Study Group.
