BETWEEN EXPERIENCES AND INTERFACES: Proposal of usability guidelines for Virtual Learning Environments based on the Learning Design approach.
Virtual Learning Environment; Learning Design; User Experience; Usability.
Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs) have been increasingly highlighted, because the distance learning modality allows the insertion of elements that contribute to flexibility and practicality in the teaching process, and for this reason the usability of the resources of these artifacts digital is fundamental for the performance of the activities carried out by the users. Based on this scenario, the theoretical axes of this research are defined as: User Experience and Interface, Learning Design and Distance Education. Thus, we try to answer the following question: how can Learning Design approaches contribute to improving the usability resources of VLE systems?. For this, the objective of the research is to propose recommendations for VLEs, in order to improve the users' experience in face of the existing demands of these systems, based on Learning Design approaches. For this, it is considered as object of study, the AVA of the Federal University of Pernambuco, from the application of the Design Science Research method, in which it is expected as a result, the development of a framework for the systems of the AVAs.
