SUMMARY:

With the development of higher education in Fashion in Brazil and after its regulation, the educational practice needs to adapt to the new directions of learning. The appropriation of Design contents in the teaching of Fashion reveals to the academy references in the implementation of its techniques and processes. In view of this articulation, Design Thinking, which seeks in its essence to solve problems, leads to education, a proposal for investigative learning, working collaboratively and developing empathy, where the student participates as a trainer of knowledge and not just as information receiver corroborating with the learning dynamics experienced from the active methodologies for education. Information Design, on the other hand, can make effective contributions in the planning of information for the production and commercialization of products, and in the clothing development process, as Infodesign helps in identifying problems, in evaluating and analyzing the use and in optimizing systems. informational aspects of educational artifacts. From this perspective, this research aims to develop a teaching approach that brings together fundamentals of Design Thinking, Active Methodologies and Information Design with the purpose of adapting and incorporating design fundamentals and methods to learning in the development of fashion product projects. . Therefore, an investigation will be carried out by inductive method, and in the qualitative model organized in theoretical research and practical research. The theoretical research seeks to base Design Thinking methodologies for education and Active Methodologies, as well as the principles of Information Design that can be inserted in the teaching-learning process for the development of fashion products and elaboration of technical sheets. The field research, on the other hand, seeks to verify the ways of teaching and learning and educational contexts in higher education courses in Fashion, specifically in the discipline of sewing. In view of the sum of knowledge achieved, from the completion of the research phases, it is intended to elaborate, then, teaching guidelines to be applied in the educational scope of Fashion, in the context of higher education, specifically for the discipline of sewing.
