Expanding narratives: languages used in adventure games

The project presented here aims to analyze how four recent examples of electronic games (Kentucky Route Zero, The Blackwell Series, The Red Strings Club and Hypnospace Outlaw) of the adventure/point-and-click genre, share and break with the narrative conventions established by the genre. During these investigations,
distinctive narrative mechanisms of the genre will be highlighted (the language and dynamics of games in communion with the text) for the act of guiding their paths and plots.
