SUMMARY:

Technology is increasingly popular within schools and among students. However, the lack of dissemination/exploration of games aimed at environmental education that serve the young audience, the generation more connected to the virtual world, arouses the interest of research and the development of technical and technological products (PTT) aimed at this area. Gamification, very present in the lives of young students, is a strategy that can combine fun and learning concepts and content related to environmental education. Within this context, this work aimed to develop a game aimed at the disposal of solid waste, as well as involving the local microclimate, in order to significantly contribute to the teaching-learning of students in various areas of education, but mainly in environmental sciences. The product developed is called "Environment, here's the question!", which consists of a labyrinth through which the player must answer a series of questions related to solid waste disposal and the local microclimate. will advance in level, 50 questions were prepared in total. Some challenges such as dribbling monsters, a maximum time of 5 min are attractive that keep the player always active. It is necessary to work on the environment with active methodologies, since play is also an option and the use of technology comes to enhance these methodologies. In addition, a validation of the game was carried out with education professionals through the application of a virtual questionnaire through google forms according to the evaluation criteria of the PTTs of the Personnel Improvement Coordination Higher Education (CAPES). From this, it was possible to observe that the 51 professors that answer the questionary characterized the PTT in general way as innovative, of medium complexity, with high impact the socio-environmental, high applicability, suitable for the 1st year of high school and interdisciplinary. Finally, this work shows how it is possible to develop a game aimed at environmental issues and still make students work and develop an environmental praxis. In addition, it is expected that this game will be widely used by educators promoting a greater enrichment of environmental education and provoking debates inside and outside the classroom.
