SUMMARY:

Mathematics education is an area that has been increasingly impacted by digital technology.
With the increasing popularity of electronic devices, platforms, and educational software,
many teachers have been interested in incorporating these tools into their classes to
make learning more interactive and attractive. However, many are still afraid or unaware
of how to use these technologies effectively and appropriately, and this has been built
since the initial and continued training of these teachers. In addition, there is an urgent
need for educational models centered on the student and on motivation and invitation
to learning. The theoretical framework for this research is composed of the Theory of
Instrumental Orchestration (TOI), which is concerned with the planning and execution of
didactic arrangements rich in technologies; and, through a reinterpretation of gamification
in existing literature, which, as a teaching methodology, emerges as a playful design tool.
This research aims to characterize a composition of Gamified Instrumental Orchestrations
(OIG), which motivate a group of future mathematics teachers to face and evaluate the
use of digital technologies in the teaching of conic curves. A mini-course will be held for
a group of undergraduate students in Mathematics, and then a sample will be invited
to participate in a focus group. As a result, the author intends to infer the union of
instrumental orchestrations outlined with a view to motivating the use of technologies
when facing "missions" about the concept of conics. Furthermore, this research has the
potential to observe that this approach will cause changes in students’ attitudes in their
future practices. It is expected to result in more intrinsic motivation in relation to the
use of these artifacts and a different way for the student to deal with the teaching of
mathematical concepts, demonstrating new ways of externalizing the constructed content,
carrying out activities in different ways, promoting new ways of teaching, learning, and
evaluating.
