SUMMARY:

This research comes in line with the Philosophy of Difference, studying the relationship of two
theories: the Philosophy of Difference with Education. Upon questioning: How could practices
related to self-care contribute to becoming a teacher? Our objective is to present discourses by
some teachers from the four levels of education, regarding the Care of Self in their becoming a
teacher, based on some works by Foucault (2006, 2009, 2011. 2013, 2014). From the readings
of Tartaro, Cavamura and Souza (2014), Queiroz (2015), Gallo (2000), Schopke (2009), Silva
et al (2013), Passos, Kastrup and Escóssia (2010), among others, given the pandemic scenario
that the entire population faced with the arrival of the new coronavirus. We will use the method
of cartography, to enter into the subject's experiences, through human subjectivations. Entering
some existential territories of the research subjects, who are Mathematics and Pedagogy
teachers, verifying their discussions about the articulation of their daily life in the classroom
with self-care, during this period of remote and hybrid teaching. An interview will be
conducted, with a maximum duration of 20 minutes, through the Meet platform, with audio
being recorded. We don't know which answer we will reach, but we will be using the necessary
resources of the Philosophy of Difference to immerse ourselves in the intimacy of our subjects
In view of this, we believe in the relevance of this research, to provide us professors, like any
other type of reader, with the knowledge of the importance of Socratic Self-Care, in our future
and contributing to the educational field through its professionals.
