SUMMARY:
This work analyzes the different strategies, methods, and knowledge that make up the work of history teachers through YouTube, observing how the production of videos and pedagogical materials has been expanding the teaching of history in the networks. Our objectives are to understand how the digital culture has been integrated into the reality of teachers, incorporating elements of communication and advertising as strategies of production and dissemination of their pedagogical work, consolidating their historical narratives; to observe how YouTube videos can be worked in history school teaching; and to categorize teaching knowledge (TARDIFF; LESSARD; LAHAYE, 1991; SHULMAN, 2015; MONTEIRO, 2010) and profiles of teachers who work in history teaching on the YouTube platform. Given the growth of audiovisual productions aimed at education, the so-called video classes (RAMOS NETO; SÁ, 2019), we used the concept of Youtuber Teacher to delimit the model of teacher who teaches through this digital audiovisual medium. The methodology of the work took place through a literature review on digital culture, audiovisual education, and History Teaching; data collection and analysis regarding three History teaching channels on YouTube and their audiovisual productions, and interviews with the teachers who create content on these respective channels. From this work, we proposed as a pedagogical product the creation of an eBook that shares strategies, paths and possibilities for teachers who want to work with History teaching through YouTube
