INTELLECTUAL INFLUENCE ON INFORMATION SCIENCE IN BRAZIL: A STUDY BASED ON THE AREA'S PRODUCTIVITY STUDENTS

It aims to understand the intellectual structure of the PQ-CI-CNPQ to identify authorial and thematic intellectual influences, based on the scientific production published from 1972 to 2019. To this end, it aims to develop categories of analysis for the periodic production of these actors as well as their influences intellectuals; compare the intellectual structure at different times, aiming to observe the evolutionary trajectory of authors and themes in the field in these intervals; and to identify thematic and intellectual formulation patterns, verifying how these are established in the periods, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the area. It foresees carrying out the research using Citation Study and Social Network Analysis, together with the investigation of historical and sociological aspects, with the aim of understanding the intellectual structure of a representative portion of the area with the support of information technologies. It presents as methodological procedures a process of eight executable steps to obtain the results, which ranges from the identification of the research agents (the PQ-CI-CNPQ), through the data collection, its standardization and processing, as well as interviews with the agents, categorization of the identified intellectual influences, and at the end the analysis of the relationships found. It expects as results the generation of networks of intellectual relations of the PQ-CI-CNPq, the identification of the intellectual structures of the PQ-CI-CNPq, as well as the identification of thematic and intellectual formulation patterns without a temporal line.
