A LABORATORY IN THE PALM OF YOUR HANDS: the GeoGebra Suite application as a tool for learning the frequentist meaning of probability
This study aims to investigate the contributions and restrictions of the GeoGebra Suite application to learning frequentist probability, by proposing a composition of instrumental orchestrations with a group of high school students. The study is based on the budgets of the theoretical framework on the epistemology of the concept of Probability and its different meanings, from Batanero, and on Rabardel's Instrumental Approach. Methodologically, the research is qualitative and exploratory. The constitution of the data will take place through the execution of a composition of instrumental orchestrations designed for a progressive construction of the frequentist meaning of probability. Data analysis will be carried out through an interpretative microanalysis, based on microgenetic analysis. We believe that with the study it will be possible to describe a composition of instrumental orchestrations, focusing on High School, where it is possible to discuss the construction of probabilistic knowledge through a digital synthetic, the GeoGebra Suite application, articulated to the use of a mobile device.
